Hitch-Up Checklist

- Lower the Trailer Tongue on the Ball.
- Fully Raise the Jack.
- Tighten the Latch.
- Inspect the Connection.
- Attach the Chains.
- Connect the Lights.
- Fasten the Brakes.
- Check the Lights.
- Inspect the Trailer.
- Are the Lug Nuts tight?.
- Are the tires properly inflated?
- Does the Tire Guard have enough Clearance above the Tires?
- Are the Rollers and Bunks in good shape?
- Is the Hitch Coupler clamped/screwed tight on the Ball?
(Visually check from Underneath!)
- Is the Brake Cable hooked up?
- Is the Boat properly connected to the Trailer?
- Do the Brakes and Car/Trailer Lights work?
- Is the Brake Cable hooked-up to the Bumper?
- Has the Trailer been Serviced within past 2 years?
