General Purpose Emerger (Trout Fly)

Body Part Descriptive Notes
BODY: Seal's fur or substitute a range of colors (such as Claret, Fiery Brown, Black or Olive) dubbed in well waxed thread and picked out after rib in place to create an "untidy" loose appearance.
HACKLE: None
HEAD: Black Varnish
HOOK: Up-eyed (dry) Fly; Size 10 - 14
RIB: Very Fine Gold Wire
TAIL: None
WING: Small slips of Goose or White Duck Feather Fibers; tied in halfway along the body
USAGE:  Effective (dry) fly on stillwaters for brown and rainbow trout.
