The Maine Department of Human Services, Bureau of Public Health has issued a health advisory for two saltwater species: Striped Bass and Bluefish. Due to the presence of PCBs and mercury, consumption of Striped Bass and Bluefish should be limited as follows:

No one should should eat more than 2 meals of Striped Bass or Bluefish per month.
