Attention all Bunganut Property Owners and their families! As an encouragement to contribute original content to your lakeside website, a writing contest is being held this summer. The subject matter is Bunganut Lake (naturally)! Any story or poetry regarding the lake will be considered, whether it is about camping, water activities, woodland/nature or family fun at the lake. Express your joy and passion for being here. Depending on the success of this year's contest, this may become an annual event. For this year, there are three participant categories in which to choose from:
A maximum of two (2) submissions may be sent via e-mail or "snail-mail". For the US Postal Service, please use the following address:
SPECIAL NOTE: All campers and staff members of Camp Cherith are eligible to enter into the contest; there will be one winner in each age category per week! Campers may give up to two submissions per week of attendance (if desired). Provide "Camp Cherith" in place of Property Lot Number.
One prize per person will be awarded in each category; contestants will need to supply the following information with their entry:
Full Name, Mailing Address, Home/Camp Phone Number, Birthdate and Property Lot Number.

Haiku verses are composed of three verses with syllables counts of 5, 7, 5. The subject is about nature, with a key word to indicate season. For example:
Nature's confetti -
Bright, wind-blown leaves of color,

The key word is "confetti", which indicates autumn (fall).
Anyone wishing to be considered as a judge of submitted materials may contact the webmaster; the number of judges will be determined by the number of
entries received. The contest starts Memorial Weekend and ends on Labor Day Weekend. All submissions will be added to the website and become the
property of Bunganut Lake Online.
