Cocky Knight (Trout Fly)

Body Part Descriptive Notes
BODY: Dark Ginger Rabbit with Guard Hairs
HACKLE: Brown; Palmered and Trimmed; Taper the hackle high in the front.
HEAD: Black Thread
HOOK: Size 10 - 18; 3906B Nymph
RIB: None
TAIL: Pheasant Tail; The tail fiber should extend a short distance beyond the eye, dividing like antennae.
WING: None
USAGE:  It imitates a caddis larvae. Works best when fished slightly upstream and allowed to drift on a tight line. Allow the fly to lift and remain suspended from the bottom for a few seconds at the end of each cast.
